Game Thread: Knicks at Wizards - 12/28/19

How was your 2019? How about your decade?

As far as the Knicks are concerned, after tonight, the 2010s are over. The next game will be on New Year’s Day against Carmelo and the Blazers. New Year, new Knicks!

For tonight, the Knicks get a chance at revenge for the debacle two games ago, this time against a Wizards team that is somehow more injured than last game:

Gary Payton II will be starting in Beal’s place, which is maybe bad news for the Knicks because Payton double-doubled and had six steals last Monday, keying the Wizards’ win. The Knicks will be getting Wayne Ellington back from injury, and Mitchell Robinson’s big toe is good to go.

Can the Knicks end 2019 on a two-game win streak? I guess we’re about to see!
