76ers 126, Knicks 111: Please get Mitchell Robinson some better teammates

The kid can play.

Another day, another loss for the New York Knicks. They came back from a 26-point third-quarter deficit to make it interesting, mostly thanks to the brilliance of rookies Allonzo Trier (team-high 19 points) and Mitchell Robinson (14 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals).

The play of the game, in my opinion, belongs to Robinson. Up seven with the game still in reach, Philly called a timeout and then went to their old reliable, All-Star center Joel Embiid. And young Mitch just ate him alive.

Damyean Dotson missed what would have been a huge three on the other end, the Sixers came back down the court and swished their own triple, and that was the end of the game pretty much. Well, not for Mitch, who blocked Embiid a second time.

Poor Mitch. Get this kid some better teammates. Like, say Kevin Durant.

The first half was largely devoid of highlights ... except for one BIG one. Kevin Knox, who has been struggling mightily of late, yammed it on Ben Simmons.

That was fun. Mitch was funner. Recap to come.
