The Knicks broke a single season franchise record losing streak after 18 consecutive losses in Atlanta Thursday night. And they did it in style, jumping out ahead 14-0 and never relinquishing the lead, although the Hawks closed the gap late several times.
Heroes abounded for the Knicks.
Dennis Smith Jr. had an efficient and controlled outing, chipping in with 19 points on 7-10 shooting and seven assists.

Kadeem Allen continued his steady, composed and confident displays off the bench. He ran the offense with ease and iced the game with a clutch three late in the fourth on a possession veering towards disaster.

DeAndre Jordan did DeAndre Jordan things. He rebounded some and smashed the ball through the hoop some.

Kornet was really on one tonight. He tried to flash some wannabe Kobe type handle which he didn’t quite pull off and was only 3-10 from beyond the arc. Still, he did manage to really stick the dagger into the Hawks to ensure a Knicks victory.

I’ll have a recap up at some point, ya fuckin’ losers. Enjoy the win in the meantime and remember the Knicks still have the worst record in the league!
