Your Knicks are the odds-on favorite to win the Summer League. Sure, 10/1 odds aren’t particularly great — clearly the result of the short tournament format — the clear message is that the gambling community respects the Knicks’ young talent (in a Summer League setting, at least).
And who can blame them? The SummerKnicks are loaded. They have All-Rookie center Mitchell Robinson patrolling the paint, Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month forward Kevin Knox on the wing and No. 3 overall pick RJ Barrett steamrolling his way to the rack. And don’t forget basketball royalty like Allonzo Trier and Kadeem Allen. And who could forget Iggy Brazdeikis? That’s a hell of a lot of talent.
