Tonight pretty much went as expected.
The Lakers are the best team in the West. The Knicks are improved, but still not good. New York hung around for all of about five minutes and then got totally smacked for the rest of the game.
There’s really not too much to talk about and it’s late, but let’s give a little shoutout to RJ Barrett for keeping this one watchable, dumping in a team-high 19 points on 9-19 shooting.

Mitch got pretty bottled up by the Lakers’ trio of great paint defenders. Julius Randle had another meh game. Bobby Portis tried to murder Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and got ejected. Kevin Knox was buns. Frank Ntilikina started hot and then ended cold. Elfrid Payton got rebounds.
So yeah, that’s basically it. MMiranda will have a recap for you guys and surely turn this game into poetry, somehow. SEGABABA in Utah tomorrow. G’night!
