Out of the frying pan and into the fire for New York. James Dolan hates learning lessons and is perpetually bent on repeating mistakes. As long as he’s in good company, he seems fine making his money hand over fist and succumbing to the will of more virile men. Eventually the mistakes of the past will echo into the Knicks’ future and Dolan will impose his petty vengeance on another friend. This time it’s Leon Rose.
The Knicks plan to make CAA player agent Leon Rose the franchise's next President, league sources tell ESPN.

Rose has represented such Knick luminaries as Carmelo Anthony, Andrea Bargnani, JR Smith, Eddy Curry, Renaldo Balkman and Mardy Collins (who, if you don’t recall...). He’s from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, he’s an attorney. Things don’t end well for the Knicks because they never start well. If there’s any hope it’s that this approach to team building has garnered success for the Lakers and Warriors.
Knicks adopting a model that has gained popularity w/ the successes of Bob Myers (Warriors) and Rob Pelinka (Lakers). Rose has been one of the top agents in basketball for years, w/ clients including Joel Embiid, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns and Carmelo Anthony. https://t.co/ONrcIu9k2U

Dolan and the Knicks quickly turned away from the potential to sign a bonafide front office man like Masai Ujiri or Sam Presti if they had only been willing to bide their time. This is the second CAA takeover of the Knicks. Steve Mills was not fired, he was reassigned. The Knicks are the butt of the joke again. They just don’t want that writing to come off the wall.
Rose does indeed rep KAT & Devin Booker and co-reps Kuzma with Austin Brown, who also reps D'Angelo Russell.

You don't need a map to see where the Knicks think they're going with these interviews, folks. https://t.co/R5kkMafkmn
Trade deadline is only a few hours away. We’ll see what the player empowerment movement brings the Knicks. So far no players have had a chance to react.
Mitchell Robinson has signed with agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group, per SNY sources.

GOD DAMN IT! Should have known, right Jim?
UPDATE:
Knicks also bringing World Wide Wes into the snake pit.
Knicks have begun finalizing plans to bring Rose and William Wesley into potential basketball ops. structure, sources say. https://t.co/YxO3xVtDnL
