The Madison Square Garden Company Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Dolan has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been in self-isolation and is experiencing little to no symptoms. He continues to oversee business operations.— NY_KnicksPR (@NY_KnicksPR) March 29, 2020
Dolan owns MSG, which includes the Knicks and New York Rangers. I hope he’s resting up and not doing too much actual work overseeing those business operations.
Obviously this is a sensitive subject for Knicks fans. As my mom taught me, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.
I will say this: Dolan has been taking care of his employees during this crisis. He just hasn’t been sending out a bunch of press releases like other owners.
Not everyone is doing this so James Dolan paying Garden and Radio City staff workers from March 12th to May 3 plus setting up a $3.2M relief fund is generous offering. Union heads are very pleased.— Marc Berman (@NYPost_Berman) March 28, 2020
So get well soon, James Dolan.
