Game Preview: Knicks @ Warriors, 1/21/2021

Setting out on a four game West coast trip that starts tonight, the Knicks have a troublesome test on their hands. It all starts tonight against the Warriors who are suddenly getting things to snap in place. The newcomers are starting to figure things out behind Draymond Green’s quarterbacking and they’re starting to accentuate the devastating effects of Steph Curry’s outright brilliance.

Steph is silly. The Knicks can’t defend him. Maybe if they had whats his name.

No not him.

There he is! That’s the guy. Well, he’s not around anymore so let’s have a look at these oldsters.

The Knicks will probably be without Austin Rivers and Frank Ntilikina but the return of Alec Burks should help bolster their guard rotation and give them some much needed shooting. The team’s three point attack has mostly been self immolation since Burks hurt his ankle.

Keys & Predictions

Well the one guy is gonna kill them. Whatever Marc Berman says is just... that guy is scheme proof. Moving right along. The new and improved Julius Randle will get a nice taste for just how far his game has come when he faces off against defensive mastermind, Draymond Green.

The battle I’m anticipating most though, is over in the Canadian Corner. Air Jordache against the Maple Mamba. Will RJ Barrett put a stop to the driving spin in the lane? Ripping the ball from Andrew Wiggins’ feeble fingers, going the other way, side stepping Kelly Oubre and lunging past the outstretched arms of Eric Paschall. What a play!
