Welcome to a new month, a new year, and a new mailbag invite. The nation sits on a fine line between the fast-acting poison recently voted out of office and the slow-drip skull with the better smile now back at the wheel. The Knicks sit on a fine line between “maybe they are good enough for .500 or a play-in game” and “just a three-game losing streak away from activating the Panzer divisions.” It’s a weird year. New York has blown out Milwaukee and Boston, bested Utah and Golden State and fallen to Oklahoma City and the shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers. Anything is possible, indeed. What to make of it all? Whatever you want.
We’re a quarter of the way through the season. What’s on your mind? Knicks now? Knicks of the past? Of the future? Have your expectations changed since opening night? Got trades in mind? Lineup thoughts? Roster notions? Questions from the rest of the NBA? From other sports? Life?
Hit us up in the comments or P&T’s Twitter feed and tell us what you’re thinking. Give us your mired, your wired, a tour of your lore, your huddled hypotheticals yearning to breathe free, digitally. We’ll get to responses later this week. Hang in there, everybody. xoxoxo
