It’s been 11 months since the Westchester Knicks last played. COVID-19 halted the 2019-20 season on March 6, 2020 and put the 2020-21 season on pause for four months. But finally, G League basketball returns in February for a 15-game schedule and single-elimination postseason. The G League season will be played in a bubble at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The Westchester Knicks announced their 2021 schedule earlier today. The Knicks will play the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in their season opener & Team Ignite on Feb. 18 on ESPN+. Westchester will play on ESPNU on Feb. 11 against Greensboro & on ESPN2 on Feb. 23 against Lakeland. pic.twitter.com/KsfKXrC1mr

Westchester’s season kicks off on February 10 against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The Knicks have five back-to-backs and will play the Greensboro Swarm the following day. Three games will be on ESPN platforms. Those are the team’s February 11 meeting against Greensboro, February 18 match-up against Team Ignite, and on February 18 against the Lakeland Magic. Team Ignite consists of lottery picks Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga, ESPN Top 100 players along with Isaiah Todd, Daishen Nix and Kai Sotto.
The Westchester Knicks head into the season with a 12-man roster, which includes seven players who have NBA experience. The roster features both Knicks’ two-way players Jared Harper and Theo Pinson. There are three former first round picks in Skal Labissière, James Young and Justin Patton. All three will look to make their case to get another opportunity in the NBA in the G League bubble.
