Jared Harper put up six of those 17 points and finished with nine points and four assists after one quarter of play. Canton trailed by nine points, but cut their deficit in the second quarter and took the lead following a Malachi Richardson perimeter shot. The Charge kept it close in the second quarter and trailed by one point at the half.
Westchester came out strong in the second half on both ends and played with strong effort. The Knicks held the Charge to six points in the first six minutes and held the lead for the entire 12 minutes. Ignas Brazdeikis scored Westchester’s first six points of the fourth quarter and pushed the team’s lead to double figures. The Knicks improved to 4-4 following the 100-91 over Canton.
