The Westchester Knicks opened the game with a couple triples from Tyler Hall. He was fouled on one shot, which resulted in Hall scoring nine of the team’s first 17 points. Jared Harper had a great half where he scored 16 points. He showed his great vision and getting his teammates involved throughout the game.

The Knicks held a seven-point lead at the half and opened their lead in the third quarter. Westchester held the Stars to 10 points through the first nine minutes of the second half, while pushing their lead to 20 points following a three-pointer made by James Young. While Salt Lake City attempted to trim their deficit, Westchester had an answer.

A 7-0 run by the Stars made it a 11-point game at the midway point of the fourth quarter. That was the closest Salt Lake City would get in the final frame. The Knicks mirrored that by scoring the next seven points and continued their offensive output for the remainder of the game. Westchester walked out with a 116-95 win.

Jared Harper led Westchester with 22 points (9/11 FG) and five assists. Myles Powell finished with 20 points (3/7 3PT) and five rebounds. Ignas Brazdeikis totaled 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals. Simi Shittu recorded a double-double (10 points and 11 rebounds), along with two blocks. The Knicks shot 51 percent from the field.

Westchester improved to 6-4 and have won their past three games. With five games left in the season, the Knicks have possession of the No. 8 spot in the standings. The top eight teams advance to a single-elimination playoff.

The Knicks are back in action on Saturday against the Raptors 905. The game will be at 3:00pm on NBA TV, Twitch and MSG.
