Shooting for three

Second game of a back-to-back and the Knicks are gunning for their third win in a row. A little exhaustion should be no excuse if they know their enemy at all. The Heat were runner up to the championship in the bubble and they let it all hang out. This is just regular old game. It comes with the potential caveat of people who are too consumed with the Super Bowl to pay attention to the game.

If Theo Pinson plans to earn his keep he should get busy making a side bets with all the Heat players. Get them thinking about anything but the game at hand. And then CRAM! Julius Randle can go dunk on everybody.

Projected Starters

The Heat have had some injury woe, but they recently got Jimmy Butler back and Bam Adebayo has only gotten better since their Finals run. The guy is a god damned menace. Mitchell Robinson has his hands full. Fuller than he realizes.

Keys & Predictions

The Heat very famously played a powerful 2-3 zone in the playoffs and completely ruined the Celtics. The Knicks very famously can’t shoot. If the Knicks do see a zone, Miami used long athletes up top and kept hiders in the corners with Adebayo anchoring everything. Does that mean we’ll see Kevin Knox, who could easily shoot over those twerps (then get abused on the other end)? Friends, I hope not.

I have been very critical of the different types of hooks Thibs has for his point guard rotation. The lack of shooting will really... well what do I know? It’s not allowed to be critical of the team and happy they got a win. That type of nuance is foolishness. My mistake!

Scrap and claw, babes. Dare the refs to make all the calls and sprint through the finish.
