Knicks center Mitchell Robinson suffered a fractured foot during the first quarter of Saturday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Mitch was guarding Brook Lopez in the post and came down awkwardly while going for a steal.

The news came back quickly, and it was bad.
Mitchell Robinson suffered a fracture in his right foot and will be re-evaluated when the team returns to New York tomorrow.

This was the second bone break for Mitch this season. He suffered a fractured hand back in February which cost him a few weeks. He just returned to game action on March 21.
In the short term, this is going to hurt the Knicks tonight against Milwaukee. Julius Randle is out with a thigh contusion, and Taj Gibson started at power forward. Now Tom Thibodeau will have to juggle Taj and Nerlens Noel’s minutes.
In the long term, there are a few possibilities on the buyout market. Andre Drummond is the big name, of course, but there is also former Thibs player Gorgui Dieng.
Get well soon, Mitch.
