Julius Randle might have had a shaky start to the season, but he has found his groove.

The Knicks’ forward was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games that took place from November 27th to December 3rd.

In his last three games, Randle has averaged 24.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. He is also shooting nearly 55 percent on his field goal attempts.

More importantly, the Knicks went 3-0 last week, defeating the Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, and Toronto Raptors.

Against the Hornets, Randle scored 25 points and also tied a career-high by grabbing 20 rebounds. This was Randle's first career 20-20 game. It was his third career game with 20 rebounds and his first since October 30th, 2016, when he was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

He followed up that performance with a near triple-double in a win over the Pistons. Randle had 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists in 38 minutes of action. The Knicks forward was key in the fourth quarter, connecting on timely baskets to help New York pull away.

Finally, Julius Randle finished up his week with one more productive game against the Raptors. He was questionable to play but battled through it and put up 20 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists in 35 minutes. The Knicks would win 119-106 to go undefeated last week. They improved their overall record to 12-7 and have been playing really good basketball.

The two-time All-Star was also a combined +53 across all three games.

Despite all the early discourse around Randle’s start to the season, he is enjoying a career-high +5.7 net rating through 19 games this season.

It appears he has his mojo back, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.

Congrats, Julius Randle!

*Randle is the second Knick to earn Player of the Week this season. His teammate, Jalen Brunson, was awarded the honor a few weeks ago.

*This is Julius Randle’s third time winning Player of the Week since joining the Knicks before the 2019–20 season. Randle also won Player of the Month in the 2020–21 season for April.
